This general scientific treatise on infrared photography, originally published in 1939 and substantially revised in 1946, was no doubt an important resource for Edwin Land when he was doing reconnaissance research for the U.S. government during WWII. So important, in fact, that according to the library card in the back of the book, it was permanently checked out to him in 1951. Good. Item #330
